In May of 2018, the Supreme Court overruled a law that placed a federal ban on sports betting. This decision has given each state the power to legalize sports betting, both online and in-person. Alaska will likely be one of the last states to introduce and legalize online sports betting and gambling legislation. It doesn't help that the state has no professional sports teams that residents can root for.

Is sports betting legal in Alaska?

No. Sports betting is currently not legal in Alaska. There is currently no legislation introduced that would make sports betting legal if passed by Congress.
